Sushi and Marmalade---- Notes of a wandering monk in Japan

http://www.sushiandmarmalade.blogspot.com/

A monk’s wanderings; to Scotland--marmalade’s inventors--for studies at St. Andrews;  to Taiwan 2 yrs.,  to Japan 20 yrs for human rights, many trips to Korea, each key parts of one Asian family.  Now thanks to loved ones, I am gratefully settled in ‘New Scotland’, Nova Scotia, Canada, enjoying this morning some local ‘Dark Whiskey Marmalade’. I tend my Japanese Art Gallery and make sushi. I hope you find some flavors you enjoy--salty or sweet, sushi or marmalade--among these rambling notes.

After 20 years of human rights, peace and justice work in northeast Asia, I have found much of that peace here in Canada. To all of you who share my fascination with Japan, you are welcome to come and visit, sharing Japan stories and impressions. You can experience a piece of Japanese art and culture at my gallery on the ocean, here on the shores of St. Mary's Bay, the famous Bay of Fundy with the world's highest tides. While Japanese flute music plays in the background, sit on the tatami mats, drink green tea and enjoy a peaceful viewing of all the original Japanese woodblock prints that the gallery has to offer. There is no hurry....take your time....In this blog and gallery both, Japan has come to you.
